Since 1995 Thomas Coughlin has been building acoustic guitars and ukeleles by hand, one at a time.

Whenever possible, Tom uses local, sustainably harvested or non-traditional woods.  His instruments feature hand split braces, traditional french polished shellac finishes, unique marquetry inlays, dovetail neck-to-body joints, and optional side sound ports.

These are one-of-a-kind guitars and ukeleles, built using traditional bracing patterns and body styles.  Most of the guitars Tom has made are flat-topped acoustics with steel strings.

The craftsmanship produces an evenness of sound across all strings, up and down the fretboard, with a lush sweet rich tone.
